Dan Schaefer - Owner
Dan has been involved in the aviation industry for over a decade. He earned his bachelor’s degree in aeronautics, focusing on aviation management, from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Upon graduation Dan worked for a well-established aircraft detailing company and worked his way up to an Operations Manager for the greater Atlanta area. In 2014, Dan decided to get into commercial aviation in a variety of positions, most recently serving as a Flight Dispatcher for United Airlines in Chicago, IL. With his wide range of experience, Dan will provide you with exceptional service and dedication to make sure you are satisfied in every aspect of your experience with our services.
EDDY RUIZ - DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Eddy Ruiz joined CAVU Aircraft Detailing as Director of Operations at the end of 2024, bringing more than two decades of hands‑on aviation experience and operational excellence. His career began on the ramps of ORD and PWK, where he learned the fast‑paced rhythm of airport operations and developed a deep respect for precision and safety. He later advanced into maintenance, completing A&P coursework while working as a maintenance technician at North American Jet.
Over the next 20 years, Eddy refined his craft with Down to the Last Detail, mastering high‑end aircraft appearance standards and building a reputation for meticulous workmanship and dependable leadership. Today, he leverages that technical foundation and operational insight to elevate CAVU’s workflows, strengthen team performance, and uphold the company’s commitment to elite aircraft care
